Can one commit suicide to affirm his freedom ?

To commit suicide is not to affirm its freedom, because the subject which gives itself the death keep silent by là-même freedom that it thus claims to affirm or that it intends to find in the non-being. Freedom can exist only in being it. And it is for that which it is so difficult to live. To say that the suicide is the assertion of freedom, it is to confuse freedom and the free will: the freedom passes by being it which known as free and which is, so in being it. The free will affirms, on the contrary, his absolute independence vis-a-vis with what is, including vis-a-vis with itself. In other words, the man of the free will wants to be radically unspecified, and consequently released of all, the physique like the psychic one, climate like history, others like him. It forgets only that it cannot demolish freedom which it has to demolish of all, including freedom, without denying this freedom which it however poses like absolute. True freedom, on the other hand, always gives itself limits, whose first is the body - that it can leave only by losing it and thus that while being lost in its turn. For this reason freedom is the respect of the life, because without the life there is not the existence - which is this judgement that we carry on the life. If I judge that the life is not worth to be lived, I deny the existence itself, i.e. the judgement by which I affirm the not-value of the life. \"I gave you the choice between the life and death\", known as Ecclésiaste; and it adds: \" Selected life!\". *Is suicide act of courage?*
As for the idea according to which the addictives conduits and the suicide would be a mark of freedom or courage, it would be wise not to forget that the suicide belongs so that Spinoza called "sad passions", which draw us to the bottom - and towards nothing when we are with lowest.. That which commits suicide or takes risks not calculated for its life or its health is similar, all things considered, with the cyclist which, suffering in a rise because of the required efforts, decides to stop, i.e. to stop, or all to stop. Thus it loses the race as committing suicide it the life loses. Courage could not be sad: it is merry on the contrary, even in the suffering, because this joy emanates from an enthusiasm of oneself with oneself - which is not other than the passion of living, with the direction impassioning of the term. If the suicide is passion, it is because it is folded up on itself while being closed with the life. On the other hand, enthusiasm is opening: it is an interior god (in theos) who contributes to transcend us. From where this enormous paradox according to which if the life has a direction, it can be only apart from it! But to live this "outside", it is necessary to live! The "outside" thus does not mean that the life in itself does not have a direction: that means that the life was given to us - or rather lent, since it will be taken again to us - and that for this reason all that comes from the mortals that us sums is necessarily sullied with death.
